Documentation is the mission.

For more than a decade, we’ve documented firefighters, emergency response, and disasters as filmmakers.

Along the way, we learned something important: what you know and do before an emergency can change what happens during one.

PI Fire Science grew from a desire to share what we’ve learned—and help more people become informed, confident, and prepared.

Our Standards

What we won't sell

No filler gear. If it wouldn't survive our field kit, it doesn't make the shelf.

No junk ingredients. Emergency food must clear our clean-label bar: no hydrogenated oils, no high-fructose corn syrup, no artificial dyes, no carrageenan where we can help it.

No fear-mongering. We teach the physics of survival — ember ignition, flow paths, red-flag readiness — because understanding beats panic every time.

Non-VC Independence

$PiFire and fee-funded media

We use open blockchain rails and traditional social media monetization—not as a substitute for journalism, but so product funding doesn’t depend on venture ownership of the newsroom.

Traditional venture capital often pushes emergency and news media toward engagement farming, algorithmic alarmism, and clickbait.

Pi Fire Science integrates with Bankr on Base so protocol swap fees related to $PiFire can help fund field documentation, emergency-response research, and open preparedness tools—without selling editorial control to outside investors. Holding $PiFire is not an investment in Pattern Integrity, not equity, and not a donation. It does not entitle anyone to profits, buybacks, or a say over coverage.
